  • 1. How can I reserve a seat for Saturday (or any other) night?

You can purchase tickets for any night of any show by clicking here - or by calling 866-811-4111 and asking to purchase tickets for the Players Club of Swarthmore.

Your tickets will be available for Will-Call pickup at the box office on the night of the show and will be Guaranteed to be waiting for you.

Currently, our seats are General Admission, so we can't sell you a particular seat, but we will ensure that you have a seat when you arrive if you purchase them ahead of time. (and all of our seats are good seats).

    2. I have a group of people that want to come see a show. Can we sit together? Is there a discount?

That depends on how large your group is. Our terrific Group Sales Program allows you to make arrangements for group seating for a party of 15 or more. Please see our Ticket Information Page for more information.

If your group is less than 15, we strongly recommend that you arrive an hour before curtain time to get in line early with your group. That way, you can almost be assured of sitting together. But please note, Players Club policy does not allow holding seats for late arrivals.

    3. Do you have a discount ticket price for senior citizens?

We wish we could, but because of our low ticket prices, we just can't afford to offer senior citizen discounts. After all, our tickets are only slightly higher than movie ticket prices, and you experience a high quality, live production! The best value we offer is a season membership subscription, which offer as much as 43% off of box office prices (savings vary according to the type of subscription). At the beginning of each season we offer a discount for early bird subscriptions - get on our mailing list to take advantage of it next year. For more information about tickets, please go to our Ticket Information Page.

    5. How can I get more information about your main stage and Second Stage shows and other events?

    6. I would like to audition for a show. When are auditions and who can I contact?

Auditions are held throughout the year and they are open to everyone. Please check out our PCS Auditions page for the latest auditions being held and the complete schedule. Also, our newsletter will give advance audition dates. Get on our mailing list (see question 4 above) to receive it, or you may also call our main number on 610-328-4271. 7. Are you accessible to individuals with disabilities?

Our Main Stage auditorium is wheelchair accessible, but our Raymond W. Smith Second Stage Theater is not, and could be difficult for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to call the theater at (610) 328-4271 for details about our facilities.  Anyone needing to be seated early in our auditorium should arrive at least a half hour before the performance and contact our House Manager in the main lobby for assistance.

For those who would like assistive listening devices, they can be obtained from the box office at no charge prior to all of our mainstage shows. These radio devices allow you to hear everything perfectly, even from the back of the house!

We recently completed an upgrade of our theater to better allow for wheelchair accessibility. A new restroom is fully ADA-compliant, with plenty of room to turn a motorized wheelchair around and automated controls on just about everything. New seats that are cushioned, wider, and much more comfortable have been installed. There are four wheelchair spaces (two in front and two in the rear of the auditorium), as well as several easy access seats with flip-up arms.

    8. Do you have hearing assistance devices?

Yes! Our Main Stage auditorium is equipped with state of the art hearing assistance equipment. Just check with the box office staff to get a headset before the show. They will ask for your car keys as collateral until you return the headset. We also have units that will feed the sound into hearing aids if yours is so equipped.

    9. Do you need volunteers for ticket taking, scenery painting, lighting, box office, etc.? How do I sign up?

Yes! The Players Club always needs, and welcomes, people! Everyone who works at PCS works for free. We do it because we love what we do and we make great friends. It is a wonderful way for couples and families to spend time together, and a terrific way to meet people. It doesn't matter what you want to do. If you have skills, there's a lot you can do; if you want to learn a couple simple things, we're happy to teach; if you just want to do easy odd jobs, there are plenty of them.

The easiest way to meet people and get invited back at PCS is to attend our work Sundays, one per show...see the calendar by choosing the Calendar link at the top of the webpage.

Don't be shy! Remember, no matter what skills you have, PCS can use them. And most importantly, you'll make a lot of terrific friends.

    10. How do I get to the Players Club?

The Players Club is located at 614 Fairview Road, right off of Route 320 (Chester Road). Go South on Route I-95 until you get to exit 7 for Route I-476 North (The Blue Route); get off immediately at Exit 1 (MacDade Boulevard) and go MacDade Blvd East. {Or come South on I- 476 until you get to Exit 1 and do the same thing}.

Follow MacDade Boulevard 1/4 mile and come to your first intersection (McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dunkin' Donuts....you CAN'T miss it). Make a LEFT onto Fairview Road. Go THROUGH two lights. The road bends to the left. Look for the theater on your left. If you get to the 3rd light, the road ends (Chester Road -- 320) and you have just passed the theater 50 feet behind you on the left!

If you live in the Springfield/Swarthmore area, come South on 320 (from the Springfield Mall) and follow the signs for 320. Go under the Swarthmore train station. At the second light (Gulf Station on corner), make a left onto Fairview. There's the theater.

The 109 Bus follows Route 320, and stops at the Springfield Mall. Follow the driving instruction above (get off at Fairview Road).

The R3 SEPTA train stops at Swarthmore Station. A 10-minute walk South on 320 leads you to the Gulf station, where you turn left and see the theater.  Contact SEPTA for train times.

    12. Why does it take so long for someone to call me back after I leave a message?

We try our best to promptly return phone messages, but because we are a volunteer organization we sometimes don’t get time to check the messages due to family or work commitments. We apologize for any delay or inconvenience this may cause you and we are constantly trying to improve.
