Diana Bingley in I Love You Because
PCS: Where is your favorite place to visit in NYC and why?

KP: Magnolia Bakery – I love their banana pudding.

PCS: Where / What is your favorite coffee shop?

KP: I really enjoy Seven Stones Cafe in Media. But my favorite coffee shop drink is actually hot chocolate.

PCS: Where did you go to college and what did you study?

KP: I went to Elizabethtown College and graduated in 2010. I studied elementary and special education and minored in math! But I also found time to sing and dance, because life isn’t complete without a little song and dance 🙂

PCS: Please tell us someone you love and why you love them. “I Love You Because…”

KP: I love my yiayia because she an amazing woman and wonderful grandmother. She was the one who first got me interested in cooking. We would watch the cooking channel together and then would go in the kitchen after watching a program and would try and make what they did.

PCS: What is the craziest thing you have done in the name of love?

KP: When I was in elementary school, a couple of friends and I would make Valentine’s Day cards for the boys we had crushes on. We would decorate them, and write cute poems or messages, and always sign them “your secret crush.” Then, my friend’s mom would drive us around to our crush’s house in the middle of the night, and we would leave the cards by the front door or in the mailbox so they would get them. I don’t know if it’s the craziest thing I’ve done in the name of love, but I remember thinking we were crazy for doing it at the time!

PCS: Who was your first crush?

KP: Celebrity crush was Nick Carter. I loved both Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC, but Nick Carter was definitely my first celebrity crush. First real crush was Frank. He was in my third grade class. I might of had a crush on someone else before then, but he was the first one I remember.

PCS: What celebrity would you want to meet for coffee and why?

KP: I would like to have coffee with President Obama, because I want to know what is really going on in our world. I want to hear directly from him and not through a news media, about what is happening and what plans are in place to help our future. Especially in education and mental health.

PCS: Aside from necessities, what is one thing you could not go a day without?

KP: Hugs. I love hugs. There’s just nothing like a good hug.

PCS: What is your favorite holiday and why?

KP: My favorite holiday is Easter because of all the services my church offers. I don’t go to church regularly anymore, but around the holidays it’s really special. how the Greek Orthodox church is decorated, and all the beautiful services are a remarkable thing. One year, I was lucky enough to be in Greece for Easter – and it was just a huge party. That midnight service was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

PCS: What makes you laugh the most?

KP: Children make me laugh the most. Sometimes kids just say the funniest things – trying to mimic adults, saying something smart but messing up words, mispronouncing words, etc. They can just be really funny and really cute and their innocence to all of it is just so adorable that you can’t help but laugh with them.
