A show
of solidarity between sisters Catherine (Kathelen
Coll Senkow, standing) and Anna Reardon (Barbara
Henry)
|
Deserted by their father
as youngsters, the three Reardon sisters were raised
by a domineering mother who has recently passed
away. Two of the sisters cared for their mother
during her long illness; the third, the married
one, did little then but willingly helped herself
to much of her mother's valuables after her death.
Now the youngest sister has undergone a scandalous
incident at the school where she teaches; the married
sister argues that she is on the brink of madness
and must be committed to an institution.

Neighbor
and fellow school district employee Fleur Stein
(Leslie Norton) drops by for a visit
|
The intense dramatic
situation of
And Miss Reardon Drinks A
Little is relieved by the valiant, sardonic
humor of the sisters. Written by Pulitzer Prize
winning playwright Paul Zindel, it is a strong play
with comic moments you will remember. Bohdan Senkow,
our director, is Producing Director of PCS, and
our extremely strong cast includes both PCS veterans
and new talent.

Audience Advisory:
This show probably not one that children below teen
years could understand or appreciate.
