This comedy/mystery by the acclaimed Tom Stoppard leaps between the present day and two centuries ago. An eager historical detective visits a female colleague at a lordly estate, and finds evidence that Lord Byron killed a guest there in a duel. Will this evidence make him famous-and get her into bed? As he works on both projects we take trips to 1809, and find that the real story is more complicated-and much better! Join us for this "smartest and funniest comedy of the decade [1990s]" (Donald Lyons, The Wall Street Journal).
